The Wait is Almost Over! (and so are the pre-order prices)

We're finally nearing the end of the pre-order phase for the Konnected Alarm Panel, and I'm really exited to announce that in just a few short weeks the wait will be over! We have a few hundred more pre-orders to send out next week, and after that we'll have plenty of inventory available to ship new orders in 1 to 2 business days turnaround time!

It's amazing to think that just almost exactly a year ago I left my full time job at a San Francisco tech company to pursue this passion project. I saw a gap in the intersection of security systems and home automation, and was frustrated by the lack of openness, interoperability, and flexibility of existing products on the market. My professional experience in developing software products lead me to developing this open-source solution, launching a successful Kickstarter project, earning hundreds of 5-star reviews, and far surpassing everyone's expectations (including my own!). Thank you so much for making this possible! We could not have done this without your support!

As Konnected transitions from a Kickstarter pre-sale to fully fledged online retail, we have a number of challenges and hurdles still to overcome. Retail Prices effective July 9, 2018

An important part of this transition is our introduction of new retail pricing which will become effective on July 9, 2018:

Konnected is still an incredible value compared to other security and home automation products out there that require you to buy all new sensors, replace batteries, and pay outrageous monthly subscription fees. Konnected comes with none of those hidden costs. All you need is a smart home hub and a home pre-wired, which most of you already have!

Every Konnected purchase comes with our highly rated top-notch technical support, a 1-year replacement warranty, and 60-day return policy. It's my goal to make sure that you're successful and happy with your wired alarm system conversion, and we'll do everything we can to make sure that's the case.

Your system gets better over time as your purchase also goes toward funding future software development, new and better integrations with other systems, and enhanced capabilities. Konnected is built on 100% open source software, which guarantees that your system is user-serviceable and will survive even in the unlikely event that Konnected (the company) disappears.

Free Shipping on all Orders of $45 and Up

We're also making some changes to our shipping prices and policies effective July 5, 2018. All orders over $45 will continue to receive free shipping to addresses in the United States. This includes all of our wired alarm system conversion kits.

Orders under $45 will be charged shipping at cost via rates calculated by our preferred carriers USPS and UPS. Most U.S. shipping rates range from $3 - $10 depending on the weight of the item(s).

For our customers outside the United States, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Orders over $45 that normally would qualify for free shipping in the U.S. will be subsidized by us for that amount. In addition to USPS First Class Int'l, USPS Priority Mail Int'l, and UPS Worldwide, we now also offer DHL Express shipping to most countries. 

Lower Prices on Accessories

Separating shipping costs from the product price also enables us to offer lower prices on small and light-weight accessory items. We're actually dropping the price on many small add-on items like relay modules, mounting accessories, wires and cables. We'll have more details to share on these items soon.
