It's been a few weeks now, turned a existing 30 years old, 7 zones Ademco alarm panel into a 12 zones Konnected/Smart Things alarm system. It's a great conversion on the Konnected side, just follow the simple installation instructions on the website, YouTube, and Konnected help. It's done in few hours. Smart Things is another animal/review. But overall it's a great success and we're very happy about it.
My Konnected system was a alarm board and a addon board, I am thinking to expand the system by adding another alarm board or addon board, relay module for garage door, sprinklers, addition horn, lighting controls, etc. in the garage area, but need to figuring out the addition wiring layout first. I followed Konnected for over 2 years, finally did it few weeks ago. I haven't touched my old alarm system for over 10 years, just sitting there, now I am playing with it everyday!

These worked great to connect to my garage door openers. I like the flexibility on the input side to trigger with either a high or low signal.
