Keep this layer separate from professional monitoring or emergency dispatch, though. SmartThings routines and notifications are smart-home features, not a promise of monitored alarm service.

Konnected GDO White and GDO blaQ both connect to SmartThings through Konnected Cloud. Check the door, open or close it, and build garage routines without jumping to a separate app. A bedtime routine can close an open garage. An arrival routine can turn on entry lights, while a late-night alert tells you when the door opens after it should be quiet.
Start with opener compatibility before choosing a product. GDO blaQ and GDO White are built for different opener types, and current Konnected GDO products do not support Security+ 3.0 openers with a round white learn button.

GDO blaQ exposes a lot more than just open and closed in SmartThings. Its SmartThings device profile includes wall-button motion, remote-control lockout, opener light, obstruction state, and partial-open percentage.
