Wired Glassbreak Detector - DSC DG-50A
Wired Glassbreak Detector - DSC DG-50A
This acoustic glass-break detector listens for the sonic frequencies created by breaking glass and triggers an alarm by opening a normally-closed (NC) circuit. It's powered by 12V DC from your Konnected AUX out and is wired to any input zone, using 4 wires in total (just like a PIR motion sensor).
Mount on the wall in a room full of windows for protection in a room up to 35 square feet with a single hardwired device.
DG-50 is equipped with multilevel discriminating circuitry to maximize its response to breaking glass and minimize its response to normal environmental noises. As well, the DG-50 is extremely resistant to seismic shock and will not alarm in response to a slamming door or even a tap on the case.
