This device converts 12V DC power from your system into a 5V USB connection. Use it to install a tablet charger in place of your old keypads! There are 4 variations to choose from.

Making the usb c thinner and on a 90 angle would be better

The USB plug was wrong for my Nextbase dashcam, but I cut and soldered the proper plug onto the adapter with no problem. Works as intended for my 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The adapter unit and wiring all fit under the rear view mirror housing where I tapped into 12 volts using my voltmeter. I now have a clean installation with no dangling wires running to the lighter socket. My only complaint would be there should be clear pictures of the available power plugs on the adapter description to avoid confusion when ordering .

I used this Konnected 12V to 5V USB power converter to power an iPort Surface Mount iPad station, as iPort no longer makes their converter. With an existing 12V transformer (located remotely) powering a 2-wire connection at the iPad station I added this converter, along with a standard USB to lightning iPad charging cable (using the female USB connection on the Konnected converter kit) and viola! My iPad stays charged. Its about as compact as the old iPort converter and fit inside the single gang electrical workbox. Does what I need and at 1/4 the price of the now disco'd iPort converter. Thanks Konnected!

Overall, the install was simple. I traced the old control panel cables back to the panel and wired in the 12v system in. The converter installed easily and works just fine with my TabA 9.7.

This works great. I mounted it to the stud with 2 screws and then connected it to the wires coming from the main board. My Fire Tablet has continuous power now. I highly recommend this for your display and power

This guy is simple to wire in, I just used my old leads from my old panned Connected them to Konnected aux and I have power to my tablet. Now we just have to get something to work more efficiently on the tablet for the system.

The photo I ordered from clearly showed a straight through USB-C connector, but I received a right-angle USB-C connector. I already have a right-angle connector from a previous order, so these two parts are of no use to me because I need a straight through connector.
